Kareley Aur Chaney Ki Daal
Ingredients
Bitter Gourd 1/2 kg
Gram Lentil (chaney ki daal) 2 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp
Salt 1 medium
Red Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
Corriander Powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder 1 1/2 tsp
Hot spices 1 tsp
Aam chor(mango spices) 1/2 tbsp
Tamarind Pulp 3 tbsp
Cooking Oil ½ cup

Peel bitter gourd, remove seeds and
cut into small pieces. Rub salt and half turmeric, keep aside for an hour then Wash
bitter gourds thoroughly, pat dry and golden fry in Cooking Oil,
In a pot soak lentil in water for
half an hour or two, add a pinch of turmeric and a tbsp of Cooking Oil and boil
till tender well. Heat Cooking Oil in a pan golden fry onion fry ginger garlic
and put boil lentil with red chilli, coriander, hot spices and turmeric
Cook on low heat until water gets
dry, stir until oil separates then add fry bitter ground then add tamarind and
mango powder simmer on low heat for 10-12 minutes
Garnish with coriander and lemon
