Masoor Daal Recipe

Ingredients:

Masoor daal                                                1/2 Kg.
onion chopped                                            1
tomatoes –chopped                                      1
green chilies chopped and slits                      2,3
salt (according to taste) or                            1 tsp.
red chilli powder                                          1 tsp.
Turmeric powder                                         a pinch
oil                                                               3 tbs.
Garlic Paste                                                           3 tbsp
Water                                                          4 1/2 cup or as needed  

Cooking

Wash daal with fresh water then boil daal  chopped onion, 1 tbsp salt, oil 1 tbsp turmeric a pinch , chopped tomatoes Green chillies red Chillies cook it for 30 minutes or until it become soft
In a pan add 2 tbsp oil, fry garlic paste until it converted to golden brown and put it on the daal (this is called tarka in Pakistan)
Tasty daal is ready to eat
