Channa Daal (gram Nuts) Recipe

Ingredients:

Channa daal                                                 1/2 Kg.
onion chopped                                            3
tomatoes –chopped                                      3
green chilies chopped and slits                      6,3
Ginger garlic paste                                       1,1 tbsp
salt (according to taste) or                            1 tbsp.
red chilli powder                                          1 tbsp.
Garam Masala powder                                 ½ tbsp
turmeric powder                                          a pinch
oil                                                               3 tbsp
Water                                                          4 cup or as needed  

Cooking

Soak daal for 2 hours in water then boil daal half of chopped onion, 1/2 tbsp salt and garlic paste half tsp
In a pan add oil, fry onion till it turn to golden now add Garlic, Ginger paste fry for a minute then add remaining salt turmeric powder, tomatoes, green chili, red chili , gram masala add boil daal with water then Cover and continue cooking until extra water dry out  testy daal is ready
Garnish with copped green chilli
