LEMON PICKLE RECIPE

 Ingredients:

Lemon                                               1 kg
Salt (Namak)                                      250 grams
Turmeric (Haldi)                                 4 teaspoons
Red chili pepper (Lal Mirch)               4 teaspoons
Ginger (Adrak), sliced                         125 grams
Vinegar (Sirka)                                   1 cup
Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)(cut) 125 grams
Fenugreek                                          4 teaspoons
Mustard seeds (Rai/Sarson)                4tbsp
Asafetida                                            2tbsp
Mustard Oil (Sarson Ka Tel)               3 cup

Cooking

Cut each lemon into four pieces. Mix salt and turmeric with lemons, keep in the sun for 7 days in the jar and shake it daily. Heat oil fry asafetida, fenugreek and mustard seeds in it then add ginger, Green chilies, red chili powder and lemon with its juice. Keep it in the sun for 10 days
