Chicken Korma


Chicken Korma

Ingredients

Chicken                         1 cut into 8 -10 pieces tap dry to remove water
Oil                                      1/2 Cup
Onion paste                         1 large
Green chili paste                 1 large
Tomatoes                           2
Tomato paste                     1 tbsp
Ginger paste                       1 tbsp
Cumin seed                        1tsp a little crushed
Salt                                    to taste
Red chili powder                1/2 tsp or to your taste
Turmeric                             1/2 tsp
 Green cardamom                2 pinch powder
 Nutmeg (Jaifel) powder     a pinch
Garam massala                   1/4 tsp
Garlic paste                        1 tbsp
Yogurt                                1/2 cup
Butter                                 1tbsp
Bay leaf (taiz pat)                2
Cloves                                5
Cardamom black                 2
Cinnamon stick                   2 of 1"
Coriander to garnish

Cooking

Fry cinnamon, cumin seed powder, taiz pat,black cardamom and cloves when bay leaves(taiz pat) turn red put in onion and  green Chili paste and fry little more . Onion starts turning golden put chicken pieces and cook on medium heat until the water of the chicken dried out. Add tomatoes ginger,garlic paste ,tomato paste,red chili,salt and turmeric powder and cover and cook till the chicken is almost done add yogurt and little water cook covered on low heat till the gravy is as much as you like sprinkle garam masala and jaifel powder and keep cooking on low flame for few mints now garnish with coriander
